Liveline High resolution 2D render

Create stunning visuals, effortlessly

Generate high-resolution renders directly from Liveline in just a few clicks no external tools, no waiting around. Renders are processed in the background, and you’ll be notified as soon as they’re ready.

High-resolution rendering requires significantly more processing power than standard screenshots. To keep performance fast and reliable for everyone, we’re introducing a lightweight usage system. Each user starts with 3 render credits (1 credit per render), which replenish automatically over time (1 per hour).

This helps prevent long queues and ensures a smooth experience as adoption grows. We’ll continue to monitor usage and increase these limits as we move forward.

Clearer, cleaner asset management

Stay in control of your layouts with improved asset naming:

  • Rename assets directly in your layout
  • See updates instantly reflected in your Bill of Assets
  • Enjoy a smoother experience with improved handling of long names

Smoother, more predictable 3D interactions

Working in 3D just got a lot more intuitive, especially for complex or stretchable equipment.

Expect smoother interactions, more accurate positioning, and lighter scenes that load faster.

Behind the scenes, we’ve improved how assets behave so you can focus on designing.

What Liveline 2.10 changes in practice

Release notes are lists of features; what matters is how they change a working day. Version 2.10 is aimed at three moments that come up in every project: building the layout, keeping it organised as it grows, and presenting it to someone who was not in the room when it was designed.

Building faster

The layout tools in 2.10 reduce the number of adjustments needed after each drop. Placement is more predictable, so an application engineer can lay out a line while talking to the customer instead of stopping to fix alignment afterwards. For a typical processing line, that difference alone removes a large share of the fiddly work.

Staying organised on bigger projects

Projects rarely stay small. As soon as a layout contains dozens of pieces of equipment from several suppliers, finding and reusing the right asset becomes the slow part. The management and library improvements in 2.10 are there to keep large projects navigable — searching, reusing and swapping equipment without rebuilding a section from scratch. Equipment comes from your own imports or from the Liveline DIREQ™ library.

Presenting with confidence

A proposal is only as good as what the customer sees. The presentation improvements in this release exist so that the file you send is understandable without explanation: clean views, accurate scale, and a layout that reads correctly to someone who does not work with drawings every day.

Should you upgrade?

Yes — Liveline® is delivered as a continuously updated platform, so you are always on the current version. Existing projects open normally, and nothing in 2.10 requires reworking a layout you already built.

Where 2.10 fits in the release history

Liveline 2.10 continues the direction set by 2.9, which focused on UX and performance, and by 2.8 before it. Each version narrows the gap between a first idea and a proposal a customer can sign. The full list lives on the updates page.
